Hundreds of people served, families, advocates, providers, and stakeholders made videos and participated in this year’s 2020 Walk A Mile In My Shoes Rally, in support of the 300,000 people who rely on behavioral health care. This year the event was virtual on September 29.
The online rally aimed to highlight the need for increased funding for mental health services, raise awareness of behavioral health needs in health and policy discussions, and work to banish behavioral health stigmas. Participants were encouraged to participate locally and post photos and statements.
