The 18th Annual Art of Recovery: The Human Journey Show is underway!
Northern Community Mental Health (NLCMH) is calling for entries for its 18th Annual Art of Recovery: The Human Journey show through Friday, October 24, 2025.
Entries are open to anyone who is recovering or has recovered from anything who lives in the six counties served by NLCMH: Crawford, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Missaukee, Roscommon, Wexford.
This could be illness, accident, grief, loss, divorce, addiction, trauma, or other challenge.
There is no cost to enter. The show is not a fundraiser. The purpose is to celebrate the healing power and resilience of people, to combat stigma, and demonstrate that we are all in this human journey together.
We have heard over and over that this show empowers us!
It demonstrates that NO MATTER WHAT the challenge – mental illness, substance abuse, grief, loss, domestic violence, divorce – we all have struggles sometimes and we are resilient people who are all in this journey together. Sometimes people are filled with relief to see that they are not alone and realize that others have grappled with similar challenges and experienced some of the same things they do.
