NLCMHA Receives Coveted CARF Accreditation

We are pleased to announce that NLCMHA has received a three-year CARF accreditation for all twelve programs for which it applied. This is the seventh three-year accreditation bestowed since the formation of NLCMHA in 2003.

Brian J. Boon, Ph.D, CARF President/CEO said, “Your organization should take pride in achieving this high level of accreditation,” adding, “This achievement is an indication of your dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served. Services, personnel, and documentation clearly indicate an established pattern of conformance to standards.”

The report noted that is evident that staff across the agency are dedicated to the provision of quality care to the Consumers, ensuring that their needs are being met and assisting them to be as healthy as possible. Clinical staff members were described as skilled, resolute, and caring individuals who are deeply committed to the mission of the organization and to the delivery of quality services. Other strengths noted included the Clubhouses, Cadillac ACT Team, training, prevention programs, risk management and compliance database, and many others.
