Grand Traverse Mental Health Crisis and Access Center opens 24 hours on 7/7/25
On 7/7/25 at 7:00 AM, Northern Lakes CMH programs at the Grand Traverse Mental Health Crisis and Access Center will increase to being open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Services include a “Living Room” model of mental healthcare, which is a safe, home-like, non-clinical setting, where people can receive crisis intervention, stabilization services, and support from staff who have their own experience with mental illness or substance use disorder.
Services offered at the Center include:
- Behavioral Health Assessments
- Face-to-face Crisis Intervention
- Psychiatric Pre-admission Screening
- Crisis Phone Screening (833-295-0616)
- Peer Support Services
- Referral to community services and outpatient therapy
In addition, on July 7, 2025, Munson will begin offering Psychiatric Urgent Care services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
