Emergency Services Specialist (Houghton Lake location)

Requirements of Position - Master’s Social Worker, LLP, LLPC. A Master’s Degree with current license in one of the specialties noted above is preferred. Must demonstrate interest in and willingness to learn crisis intervention.  Must complete Crisis Intervention/Medicaid Prescreening training.

Position Responsibilities - As a member of the emergency services team the specialist will provide non-registered day crisis services, defined after-hour emergency services on-call, and short term crisis interventions. Emergency Services Specialists will provide jail services and jail diversion services, primarily for non-registered clients, in Crawford, Missaukee, Roscommon, and Wexford counties. Must be able to provide after-hours on-call coverage and response as assigned.  This position is located in the Houghton Lake office

Working Conditions – This position will require irregular hours. It may also require travel by personal vehicle if an agency vehicle is not available. Evening or weekend hours will be required.
