Prevention and Community Coordinator (Cadillac Location)
Requirements of Position - Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Social Work or related mental health field required. Must have or be eligible for a Michigan Bachelor Social Work license. It is preferred that candidate meets Michigan Medicaid Child Mental Health Professional criteria. Direct experience in service delivery, community organization, service planning and policy analysis. Involvement in systems level planning, prevention program development, group process, training and consultation and grant writing preferred.
Position Responsibilities - Responsible for Northern Lakes Prevention services and staff support and operation of the Wexford–Missaukee Community Collaborative and the Strong Families/Safe Children initiative. Works as a team member in the Child and Family Service Division of NLCMH. Provides direct prevention groups and parent and family training. Receives support from the Collaborative Body Executive Committee. Ideal candidate enjoys community organization, system level planning and development and have a strong belief in prevention. Demonstrates small and large group teaching and facilitation ability. Strong writing and speaking skills necessary. This position is based in the Cadillac office.

Working Conditions – This position may require irregular hours. It may also require travel by personal vehicle if an agency vehicle is not available.
