Chief Managed Care Officer

Requirements of Position - A Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology or a Bachelor's Degree with direct experience in a managed care organization acceptable to the employer. Five or more years of applicable professional experience preferably including at least three years of direct services, two or more years working in a managed care role and working knowledge of managed care operations.

Position Responsibilities - As a Northern Lakes CMH employee, with Northern Lakes serving as the PrePaid Health Plan (Hub board in a Hub and Spoke affiliation agreement), and as defined in approved affiliation agreements: Will assume primary responsibility for providing direction and oversight to all aspects of managed care operations, including the day to day administrative operations of the affiliation managed care system. Will provide leadership in support of affiliation vision, mission, and organizational goals. Will provide direct supervision to those staff assigned completely to the affiliation PIHP and will supervise the time spent in PIHP activity by other staff not fully assigned to the PIHP. Under the direct supervision of the Northern Lakes CEO, will provide overall direction and oversight to managed care preparation and readiness, including providing information, consultation and training to the Managed Care Committee, the Joint Executive Team, Joint Leadership Team, and staff.
